It's been a minute since I last dropped a blog, so I figured I'd post one for year end. The first decade in the 21st century is coming to an end. In a nutshell 2009 was one hell of a roller coaster ride. Had it's up's and down's, and it's a relief that I can end it on a pretty damn good note.
I was able to do a pretty good amount of traveling towards the end of the year, which pretty much made up for the first three quarters of 2009. It's pretty sad how I classify my year with my quarterly work schedule. Made some fond memories and unfortunately a couple of bad ones. But hey, that's just how life is and we all move on. This year I was able to squeeze my yearly Vegas trip, along with New Orleans (605, I see you! We there with you in spirit! WHO DAT?), and Miami.
2010 is going to be a monster though. The current lineup of places we got planned is unreal. Dominican Republic, Las Vegas, Ibiza, Rio, Chicago, London, Paris, and Rio tentative sked. Well, I am carrying over 17 days and counting going into next year, so I think it's possible to pull it off. Hahaha
Until then folks, in about 9 hours and change we'll be hitting up another year. If you're going to be out, be safe, stay warm, practice safe sex, and have fun. Life's to short for us not to enjoy.
Peace out haters!

Tell Em' Why You Mad Son Vol. Benedict Arnold
The United States had lost a heart breaker this past Sunday in a thriller against Football powerhouse Brazil 3-2 in the Confederation Cup Final. an early strike by Clint Dempsey and a goal by Lando carried the U.S. after the first half with a 2-0 lead. Unfortunately, the sporting Gods strike again and continue to make the lives of the trio miserable when Brazil rallied in the second half of regulation scoring three goals, and winning the Cup final 3-2.
But to be honest, I'm not even mad that the U.S. lost. Disappointed? Yes. But I'm a realist. I was hopeful that U.S. would steal the show. But I knew the reality of things. It's good to see that the U.S. is progressing and showing some glimpses of greatness. Congrats to you gentlemen.
What irks me is the lack of support "Americans" show for their country. I have a friend whom actually cheered for Brazil National team to win this match, and continued to be a dickhead after the Americans lost the match. Now 99.8% of the time I can give two shits to whatever team anybody cheers for. I know who my squads are and will show my loyalty until I'm six feet under. (Knicks, Mets, Giants, Arsenal, Rangers, Hofstra, etc.) And I won't front. I cheer for other teams to, just as long as they're not playing my team. As long as they're not facing any of the given teams above, I think it's fair game.
But it's different when the competition is brought on to an international stage. As an American, no matter what it is, basketball, baseball, soccer, track and field, swimming, professional jerking off, etc., you will always see me showing support for the red, white, and blue. And it bothers me to see people reap the benefits of being an American and pledging their support to another country. If you're willingly going to support another country because you "hate" the U.S., say that we suck, etc. go fucking live somewhere else. The athletes are here to bring some pride and glory for our country and the last thing they need is for their own people to be against them. It's basically a slap in the face to your own country when people are out there jeering, calling American athletes failures, etc.
You might think I'm taking it a bit overboard, and I can relate to those who say they're showing support for their culture/heritage. Keep in mind folks, I am of Chinese descent, and I am very proud of my hertiage and people. But then again, I was born and raised in American born Chinese, and American citizen. Therefore, my allegiance and support will be for U.S., even if they're facing China PR.
That's my little rant for the day. K-Rod just walked in a fucking run to Mariano Rivera and the Yankees just swept the subway series at Shea. I'm done for the night.
Peace out haters. USA!

A win-win never felt this bad...
If you're one of the rare few that actually enjoy following football (soccer for you bloody Americans) the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals started today. As an Arsenal fan, it was a relief to see that the Gooners were finally making strides to some silverware instead of settling with third or fourth place.
And then came this afternoon, when fellow Premiership powerhouse Manchester United came to Emirates stadium and laid a beatdown on the Gunners, 3-1 final score. At least they brought the pain early. 11 minutes into regulation, United scored two early goals, one being a 45-yard BOMB by no other than the beautiful one himself (No homo) Cristiano Ronaldo.
I'm not mad though. I like Manchester United. Mainly because of Cristiano, but who wouldn't cheer for such a talented player like Cristiano? Fucking A yo, the Gooners were so close to FINALLY winning some silverware. That's why it hurts...

F' YOU SPORTS!
As you might know, I am an avid sports fanatic and have a strong loyalty for my teams. Unfortunately, the teams that I'm a fan of have been nothing but disappointing (with the exception of the G-Men) for twenty three years. So a couple of friends and I whipped up a new sports blog about the misery of being a sports fans.
The blog is not written by your typical fake fan. We are the tremendous trio. We are the definition of hooligans. Die hards. We bite our tongues for nobody. We'll tell you what we think and how we see shit. Best of all, if your having a bad sports day, we probably have it worst.
Give our blog a peek. Bookmark that shit and keep up with our shananigans! Peace out haters. Holla at ya boy!
